The 3D PSHE Nursery (FS1) Programme, which meets the new 2021 EYFS framework, includes 16 story-based lessons. Objectives are aligned to the Early Years Personal, Social and Emotional Development area of learning (30-50 months), ensuring full coverage of the three key elements:- Making Relationships, Self Confidence/Awareness, Managing Feelings/Behaviour. A matrix is provided so teachers can track where specific objectives are covered.
Even though PSHE is an integral part of any Early Years setting, we believe it is vital that very young children are taught explicitly how to be healthy, confident individuals. Designed to support pupils’ SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural) education and teach important values, the programme focuses on self-confidence and self-awareness, making relationships and managing feelings and behaviour.
