Bespoke curriculum designFor schools that want something a little more tailored to their own specific setting, Dimensions Curriculum can guide you through the curriculum design and development process by following our tried and tested principles in creative curriculum design.

Step-by-Step NI Curriculum Design

Our support addresses key questions around creativity in the curriculum, curriculum rationale, curriculum aims, organisation and assessment, monitoring and evaluating. Guided by Dimensions as part of Curriculum CPD, we also offer twilight sessions, SLT or staff meetings and INSET days, to help schools develop a sense of curriculum ownership and establish a clear direction and vision.

Alternatively, schools can commission Dimensions to plan, write and create resources, dependent on our availability and required timeframe. This would be a premium service and subject to our availability. We work on a first come, first served basis.

Tweak Our ‘Off the Peg’ Primary Curriculum

Dimensions Curriculum has already invested hours and hours of work and added quality resources into our cohesive, progressive NI Primary Curriculum model to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum from P1 through to P7.

Our existing provision is a fantastic starting point! Flexible enough to be adapted or tweaked to your school’s needs, we can even create and add school-specific topics or themes whilst still ensuring pupil progression with coverage of the Northern Ireland Curriculum. This would be a premium service and subject to our availability.

It fits with the development matters for EYFS and all PSHE aspects throughout the primary curriculum - including recent updates for Prevent. The programme is interactive and "hands on" getting the children engaged and involved who have enjoyed using it throughout the year.
