3D PSHE Relationship and Sex Education

A comprehensive, relevant way to teach pupils all about relationships, including sex education

3D PSHE RSE (Relationships and Sex Education)

PSHE RSE Dimensions Curriculum has developed a focus unit of PSHE RSE lessons, to address healthy relationships, everything to do with puberty, sexual orientation and development, as well as trans-gender issues.

“The KS2 additional PSHE Units [‘Relationships and Sex’ and ‘Extremism and Radicalisation’] handle sensitive topics in a very relevant and age-appropriate way. Teachers value having a guide to using the correct language and terminology as appropriate to this age group”.
Headteacher, Bolton Primary School

RSE Resources

This is a fully planned and fully resourced standalone unit, allowing schools to decide which year group to use it with, and comes as a digital download. We would especially recommend PSHE RSE lessons for use with Upper Key Stage 2 pupils.

3D PSHE Citizenship Programme is a wonderful resource and is easy to use. It fits with the development matters for EYFS and all PSHE aspects throughout the primary curriculum - including recent updates for Prevent. The programme is interactive and "hands on" getting the children engaged and involved who have enjoyed using it throughout the year. The provided lesson plans can be used independently or to support the SEAL programme already in school - so great for teachers and saves time on planning!

Comment from Ofsted March 2016, Waterloo Primary School, Ashton-Under-Lyne

"The school's curriculum ensures a strong focus on developing the basic skills of reading, writing and mathematics. Pupils' knowledge and skills in other subjects, such as science, geography, history and art are developed through a range of cross-curricular topics and themes, which are planned to capture and motivate their interest and develop a love of learning. Pupils' positive views about their work reflect that this is successful."

Pupil Quote

“I'm really enjoying learning with our new themes. I can make connections between what I am learning in different subjects. We do lots of practical and fun things in class now. My favourite was the Cracking Ideas theme. I loved it so much I didn't want it to end!"

Bubbles Training Quote

"The Bubbles Music training was inspirational. As a non-specialist I now feel confident enough to approach music lessons without the ‘fear factor’! Highly recommended."

"The school’s recently revised curriculum is interesting, broad and well balanced. Your carefully chosen revisions to the curriculum for subjects other than English and mathematics engage all learners, but particularly boys. Teachers make good use of practical experiences to engage pupils in learning about abstract concepts. For example, in a computing lesson, pupils developed their skills in creating and debugging algorithms through the production of a jam sandwich." (Daisyfield Primary School, Blackburn; Ofsted Short Inspection report December 2017)
